Small Group Opportunities at Hope:
Hope Church is the chartering organization for Boy Scout Troop 303, serving boys from 5th through 12th grade. The Troop meets at Hope on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. To learn more about the troop, check out their web site: www.troop303.net/
Hope’s Chimes Choir performs once a month as part of our worship service. Practice is on Thursday from 7-8 pm. Can’t read music? It doesn’t matter – everyone is welcome to join the Chimes.
Hope’s choir sings during worship from September through May. Practices are from 8-9:30 pm each Thursday and from 9-9:45am Sunday. Each spring the choir performs an Easter Cantata.
“Forever Relying On God” provides fun programing for Hope’s younger kids, ages Kindergarten though 5th grade. Meetings are held Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:30 and are packed with activities – singing, games and crafts.
Hope’s middle school and high school kids meet Sunday evening from 5:30-7:30. Socializing with friends and having fun is the focus! Movie night, going out to dinner, game night, laser tag, and retreat weekends are just a few of the fun activities on this year’s calendar.
PRISM - People Revering Inclusive Spiritual Ministries
PRISM helps Hope live to its Welcoming Statement for members of the LGBTQ+ community. Regular programs, discussions, activities and experiences bring people with different sexual orientations together. Through these interchanges participants gain a better understanding and acceptance of people living with different sexual orientations. We also support each other in making the world more inclusive for all.
“Retirees Eating Lunch in Christian Spirit”. The retired men of Hope meet at noon every other Monday at the HoneyMilk Cafe (Route 59 and Batavia Rd, Warrenville, IL) for an hour of lively conversation, fun and fellowship. Contact Dan Urban about joining the group.
